The three colors of the black and white

Too private, too intimate, too psychological. The first tree words that pop up in my mind if needful to discribe the trilogy. Not much more to add from my end.
Kieslowski's anti-films are classified by many as one of the greatest movies ever.
For me personally the threes are ultimate subconscious journey served in a classy intelligent manner.Three colors-three reasons. What are your reasons?

 Enjoy!

Spisanie Daga (Bulgarian socialist era comics)

Spisanie Daga (Rainbow- Comics): the emblematic comics of the socialist era, kinda the Bulgarian Marvel. Launched in the late 70s up till 1992 with more than 180K yearly issue at it best times. Many famous Bulgarian artists have their input in keeping the edition that popular: Boris Dimovski (world known caricaturist),Donyo Donev (author of the "3 Fools" short animation),Rumen Petkov (the director of Dexter's Lab,Johny Bravo,Cow and Chicken) etc. etc.. I must admit that along with the brilliant artworks and catchy plots,Daga has earned the reputation of a world class comics,at least in the eyes of the Bulgarian grown up kids :o) But let's have a closer look to have better understanding of this one of a kind socialistic comics.

Mondo cane

Canis lupus familiaris - remarkable creatures! Dogs' value to early human hunters led to them quickly becoming ubiquitous across world cultures.Dogs perform many roles for people, such as hunting, ptotection, assisting, companionship. This impact on human society has given them the nickname Man's best friend. There are hundreds of various breeds,so are the movies dogs are participating.Let's review some of the most remarkable ones.

Starting with The Heart of a Dog.Interpretation of 1925 Bulgakov's self titled novel. Not that famous, but definitely intriguing storyline.A stray dog was transformed by his savior Dr. Preobrazhensky into a human named Sharikov. The satire is that Sharikov got influenced by the street and adopted the communist idea.Apparently it led to a confrontation with the noble doctor, turning his life into complete hell.In the aftermath, the Professor patiently attempt to teach Sharikov basic etiquette. Instead, Sharikov mocks the idea of manners as relics of Tsarism. He insists that it is better to behave, as he puts it, "naturally." As a result, Sharikov curses in front of women, refuses to shave, and dresses like a complete slob...

Stanley Kubrick's landing on the moon

There is an urban legend saying Kubrick traded the moon landing for technologies needed to shoot Odyssey in Space 2001. True or false for you to decide. At any means until 2026 we won't know for sure as most of it is still classified.
Through the years the Moon's hoax was disputable. There are several  mainstream conspiracy theories. For instance the "No stars in the background" which has it's scientific explanation,or "The C stone" another Mother nature irony which we had recently with the " WW2 helmet" discovered on Mars.Even the "Flag in the breeze", it turned out that a wire was holding it steady.
So how,then?maybe this way :o)

Sovite ne sa tova,koeto sa!

Remember Twin Peaks?Hell yeah! :o).I was a kid then, but the music was as much as thrilling for me ,as the mystery itself.Looking at the cover of the soundtrack now,I can see the full movie, mirrored in all those Laura Palmer's Theme,Into the Night,Falling..and special agent Cooper and Sherilyn Fenn-as Audrey, she was kinda cool :o) Ahh memories.Lynch and Badalamenti : fairy tellers of the night. They got across for this magical collaboration back in '86 with Blue Velvet, when Angelo was brought in to be Isabella Rosselini's singing coach for the self titled song. They worked together on multiple projects, those we know Wild at Heart,Lost Highway,Mulholland drive etc.etc., sounds and images marking an almost perfect relationship. As it became an ideal sub-steam match through the years. Then, by accident or by destiny's will, I found out The Thing, I'd like to talk about.
Besides a movie master Lynch is not a bad musician at all, really. Not hard to predict though, being an artist of class.Even though I was suspecting D.L.s Rabbit's soundtrack is his experiment, which turned out to be truth, but it's another story. Me personally discovered Mr. L's music with the following track (short film)

hello world!
